Do you or your animals have any physical, psychological, behavioural or emotional conditions?  If so, let us help you...

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being”.  It is however, also widely accepted that reiki can be given and received equally effectively hands-off or via distant healing.

Who can have Reiki?

Everyone and everything.

What are the benefits of Reiki?

Reiki is relaxing and most people & animals really love it!  It is an all natural therapy that can enhance mood and health and compliments conventional medicine.  Key benefits can also include:

decreasing pain levels

speedy healing

relaxing body and mind

helping with depression & anxiety

delay in progression of disease

assisting with sleep

energizing the elderly or infirm

calming stressed, highly strung or hyperactive animals/people

providing support through transitions like moving home, introduction of, or loss of, another pet/family member and more

What happens during a Reiki treatment?

A session is usually carried out with the recipient lying down or sitting in a comfortable and peaceful environment.  There is no massage or manipulation, Reiki can also be given over a distance.  There is no need to remove any clothing as Reiki energy passes easily through all materials, including plaster casts.  During the treatment, hands are placed on or around the energy centres in the body (chakras), . This allows for the flow of positive energy from the therapist to the animal or person receiving it and enables them to initiate healing of any imbalances and restore overall wellbeing.  Reiki can be felt as tingly, heat, cooolness or nothing at all and each session will last around 1 hour.

How many treatments will be needed?

Even one single Reiki session can make a difference; however a course of regular treatments may be more effective. These may be weekly, fortnightly or less often depending on the needs of the individual.  A treatment plan will be discussed with you, and reviewed as necessary.  This will always be subject to your own preferences, and can be changed at any time according to progress.

Is Reiki safe?

Of course, however Reiki does not take the place of conventional medicine.  We would always recommend to consult a GP for an acute or infectious condition, and problems of urgent concern.

How much does Reiki cost?

We will come to you, so it will depend on where you live.  Please do give us a call on 01726 983272 or 07988 730006 to discuss.
